A New Approach for Detecting Targets in Iron-Heavy Areas

A New Approach for Detecting Targets in Iron-Heavy Areas - Cover

I’d seen a video posted by Diggin’ 4 Life about a program using pitch tones for heavy iron areas. I’ve always been a 5 or 6 tone guy on all my machines but decided to give it a test run on a spot I’ve hammered over and over. I feel like the fact that it has what is realistically two tones which modulate with depth made me truly slow down and analyze each target, where I’m usually pretty heavy on the “ear descrimination”with 6 tone. I’ll still be using six tone on my first run at sites, but I’d say this is something to have in the toolbox for sites you may think are getting played out, or have heavy iron pollution, as it was actually intended.
