I just wanted to share my story of an item I found with my new The Legend metal detector. It was my 4th time using the machine at a permission I had in New Hampshire – USA.
My son Jason and I were trying to grid the horse paddock area when I got a nice high tone hit. Out popped a 53rd Regiment British foot soldiers belt plate. Apparently it’s a find of a lifetime im told. Only 2 others have been found in the New England area in the last 10 years. I decided to sell to a military museum which should have it on display very soon. I sold it for $4500 and dropped off a check to the land owner for his 50% share. Him and his wife were quite happy that I was able to split the money with them. Needless to say I’m welcome anytime to try and find more items.
