Rare 18th-Century Georgian Nutcracker Discovered in Dorset

Rare 18th-Century Georgian Nutcracker Discovered in Dorset - Cover

A small (10cm) Georgian nutcracker found yesterday with The Legend, after 3 hours of hard digging mostly rubbish. (UK, Dorset) These are from circa 1780 and made of brass. Apparently intended for small nuts such as hazelnuts and pistachios. I feel lucky it’s still in one piece and I didn’t damage it. I quite like this find.
