I got my Simplex+ as a Christmas gift to myself, but had to wait for the weather to warm up enough to use it (this is my first metal detector). In April and May I became familiar with her by cleaning up my backyard of old bottle caps and other metal trash. In June, I started visiting the local parks in the area, the photo shows some of the coins and all of the jewelry I’ve found so far. For a first-time detectorist the Simplex+ is great and I’m having a lot of fun using it, plus I looking forward to hitting the beaches here in Michigan when the season winds down.
